![]() ![]() I hardly understand my own filters myself after a while, and have to open them to look inside what's what. I cannot ask of other users to understand my controls, if I cannot name them properly and not divide them into functional groups. The reason I do not submit any of my filters to the library, is exactly that. is really unworthy of such an excellent application as FF. Still, if more people request these things, it should be added. To name the options (settings) for a switch runs immediately into difficulties, even if I use abbrivations. So it's not lack of time, but unwillingness or not seeing the importance of it.Īlso, the possibility to give controls a name that is longer than what now is possible would greatly help. Making a very, very simple thing like seperators is a question of half an hour. ![]() Is really a pity that this is not available and really this is one of the main reasons I do not keep making more filters and using FFĪs I said before, I guess the development team is very small, maybe only one person, and I am glad they are still developing FF and focusing on new features. One important thing is that when you put a group of settings that will ONLY WORK IF THE OPTION IS ACTIVE, so for example if you want to use the additional kaleidoscope option you must know what settings will work only if you actívate this part of the filter, so It must be separateīut there are more reasons to included a separator I do not understand and know why in 12 years (since 2010) this has not been included yet Thanks for sharing the same thought and that would make the settings much better to be able to explain to the user what the settings can do using separate groups telling what It is for exactly and so the user do not have to Guess and try to find out I even get confused with the filters I have created myself, because I am unable to name sliders and especially switches in a proper way. In general, for a user of FF it is practically impossible to make a 'clear and useful' settings layout with some description of what the sliders/switches are actually supposed to be doing. ![]() There are many more things that could/should be done to improve the U.I. Why limiting the number of chars possible to input to such a small number? And that is really easy to implement.Īnother thing would be to allow for longer names in the field for sliders/switches. Such a simple thing as a Seperator Bar would really be the least to make the U.I. Here are 4 threads showing that it has been requested many times since 2010 and yet not available in 2022 But there is still missing some features I have been waiting for around 12 years and still not included, and I do not mean complex things, I mean for example a simple and easy separator component for the settings panel already asked ![]()
